Today my dad and i decided to just take a picture on my hand again like we did when he was a month old. He almost broke my arm he is so heavy.....

Time for Formula....

Well tonight was Zacks first feeding on formula. Im really in a way kinda bummed about the whole thing. My breastmilk is drying up so his pediatrician told me that I need to start weaning him to formula this week. It is such a let down on my part. But then again no matter how much i know breastfeeding is good for him and all that. I really wasnt enjoying seeing him hungry after feedings. He just wasnt very satisfied at all from it. And then pumping was depressing i could only produce an ounce from both breasts together. It just isnt working. Im just wondering how much hes going to get during the day while i feed him formula at night he will be getting the breast during the day just to get him used to it. And next week i will start taking away another feeding everyday so by the end of 2 weeks he will be only on formula. Gosh why does it hurt so bad? I feel like im letting him and myself down. Plus formula is so exspensive but he has to eat right?! Right....so i need to do this for him.

Anyways.....well he took the formula great so far. I gave him a bottle of Enfamil milk based formula after his bath tonight. So far so good hes sleeping and no spit up and he burped like a champ throughout the whole feeding. Of course he might have some gas the next few days but his doc said that was normal when switching to formula and to give enfamil a week and if he's still not getting used to it then to call him and he will give another suggestion.

Growing Up Strong

Well Recently Zacky has really started to lift his head up strong and look around more smoothly and also roll over from his tummy to his back. He's growing up so strong and quickly before we know it daddy will be home to witness all of his wonderful milestones. We are so excited to see all of the wonderful things he can do as he grows up. Were still working on rolling over some more but the next physical milestone is sitting up. Yay!!!

Morning Play

Well every morning at around 8am we wake up and we play in bed. We talk and he rolls around all over the place. Well mostly just from tummy to back but were getting there. Here are some wonderful pics of our morning play. Love you all and hope you enjoy.

Bedtime Woes

Well weve been having some routine issues lately. We just got back from our trip to Las Cruces and man things have been screwed up with this little guy. He has been keeping me up all night until like 2 am and then he finally lets me sleep. Well i kept him up alot today my poor baby was exhausted but im hoping he will sleep up to 5 hours right now. He just fell asleep so we will see...I hope things go well tonight. Because last night was nutso he was just crying and whining. And by the time i got him to fall asleep he was wanting food again. So from now on we are working on a schedule. Lets hope it works. Love all you lots!

Zacky 2 months old

Well since Zacky was born things have been very different in my life. Hes turned things upside and has spun them around a few times over. He is a blessing to our family and never ceases to make me smile everyday. He is 2 months and 1 week right now and smiling as big as ever. He can roll over (with some assistance) from his tummy to his back. He is loving playing on the floor and talking with me.
We just got back from a trip to Las Cruces where mommy and daddy met and started there life. His flight went well and all the flight attendents were in love with his handsome self. Hes such a ladies man already. He met his Grandma and Grandpa Morones (stevens parents) and his Papa John (my dad) and no he doesnt own the restaurant. He also got introduced to his uncles Ryan and Rafael and his wonderful aunty Michelle. Plus his three cousins Isiah, Xavier and Bella. It was a great trip and the trick to flying with an infant is Tylenol. My dad, Papa John, flew back with us and is now staying a week to help me get setttled.
