About Me

I am a Mom, Navy wife, student, crafter, cook, organizer, pro living room dancer, famous shower singer, clutz, lactavist, poop cleaner upper, decorater, super fan, daughter, sister, friend, and lover of all the wonderful things. 

I wish I could use this title every time I met someone without sounding crazy or snooty. You can call me Lina and I love being a Mom. I think of all the titles above Mom is my best one. It takes a lot to be a Mom. I have learned that childbirth and pregnancy are the easy parts to it all. It's everything that happens after bringing home your baby. You are constantly making decisions for a little person that life relies on you. You find that you end up becoming the queen of multitasking. For some odd reason you dance around your house and sing really badly just to make your child happy. When you thought "oh there is no way my baby is sleeping in our bed" you find yourself giving in and enjoying every single second they are sleeping in your arms. When you drop your preschooler off for their first day you tell yourself "I won't cry, I won't cry" then when you get in the car you have to pull over and bawl your eyes out.

I am the type of Mom that enjoys breastfeeding, baby wearing, cloth diapering, co-sleeping, and coffee. Lots and lots of coffee. I run the ship in my household. Which makes me the Captain and being the Captain of 2 boys and a sailor is one big adventure. Follow me and enjoy the ride.
