Meeting Santa

We decided to take Zack to meet Santa today! We braved the weekend shoppers and put him in his new outfit and took him to the mall to get his picture taken with the big man. He liked him and didn't cry thank goodness. We stood in line for about an hour but it wasn't that bad because Zack got to run around and there was places to sit.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Snow!

So It snowed on Friday and Saturday night. Friday it wasn't much and was only like 10 minutes long then on Saturday it really came down. We got about 3 inches of snow! I just had to get Zack and I bundled up to go see the snow. Steven was sadly on duty and we missed him but this was Zacks first snow and I wanted him to experience it. He was really confused and had not idea what was going on but I think he enjoyed it!

Well as of yesterday my baby boy is 1. We just can't believe how fast this year has gone. He has gotten so and has developed so much. He is such a smart little guy and we love to watch him learn something new everyday. We had a little get together at our house with family and some close friends. We had so much fun and I will post those pictures later this afternoon. We love everyone so much. Here are a few pictures from his birthday shoot.  Happy Birthday Zack!!!

Adventures in Babysitting

So I have picked up a babysitting job I watch a 9 month old girl Taegan. She is very sweet her and Zack get along great (sometimes). They dont understand that they are new toys for each other. So there are a few smacks and pushes in there but nothing serious. Zacks also learning to share me with other kids. They are so cute together and here are some pictures of them playing.

New Friends

I have made a great friend out here her name is Erinn and she her husband is deployed and they have two kids Aiden(4) and Emma(1). I met her on a babysitting website and I watch little Emma at my place on Friday mornings. Erinn and I have become pretty good friends. In April she is going with Emily and I to Alexandria, VA to go to a Twilight Convention. We are brushing up on our Twilight knowledge and planning an awesome centerpiece. We will talk more about that later though. Her kids and Zack get along great Emma is still to young to understand that Zack cant play rough with her and Aiden. It's cute to watch them and Zack enjoys watching the older kids burn energy.

There is never a dull moment in our house. Zack is always doing something silly or making the funniest faces. We hardly ever hear him cry which is great! Here are some of his silly faces for you to laugh at!

And the Costume is....

None other than a Monkey with a Banana in the pocket! Halloween is just around the corner so we went on a hunt to different places and found some good costumes. But at Spirit Halloween the costumes were like 50 bucks!!! ummm....no thank you. So we went to Gymboree and they had some cute stuff but then... at Old Navy we found it the Halloween costume of all time. A Monkey with a Banana in the pocket. We are so excited to take Zack trick or treating and we are possibly going with our awesome new friends Erinn, Aiden and Emma to Busch Gardens Halloscream we are very excited!
